Team Leader

Connie Swan

Wearing many hats and keeping her fingers in many pies keeps Connie busy at the office and at home. In addition to managing our Nature's Pharmacy, Connie backs up Alicia at the front desk and acts as our New Patient Assistant, making sure each new patient feels comfortable and welcome. Connie has three children, two of whom are adults. She continues to home educate her youngest daughter.

Front Desk Assistants

Alicia Orvik

Alicia runs the front desk with efficiency and energy. She'll help you schedule your appointments and purchase your supplements. After attending Moorhead State, Alicia received a degree as a Dietetic Technician from Normandale College. Her favorite part of working at our clinic is that she gets to meet many different people from all walks of life. When she's not at the office, Alicia enjoys photography and hanging out with friends.

Joshua Brist

Josh is Dr. Brist's son and is a young filmmaker. He has been home schooled all his life and has just completed his coursework for his Associate of Arts degree at North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park. He does a variety of jobs for Brist Chiropractic such as insurance and computer work, setting up EBs, answering the phone, helping patients check out, and (recently) improving this website.

Chiropractic Assistants

Cheryl Upton Brown

Cheryl Lee has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Minnesota. She paints abstract paintings with acrylic and she also enjoys painting CD album covers. Her other hobbies include her two dogs and growing indoor plants. Cheryl Lee has been working at Brist Chiropractic since April 2008. In addition to assisting the doctor in performing exams, x-rays, and therapies, Cheryl is our lab technician. As a newlywed, Cheryl has been enjoying making improvements to her new home.

Randi Jo Brist

Randi Jo is Dr. Brist's daughter, a Certified Massage Therapist, and a Certified Lifestyle Educator. Randi Jo assists Dr. Brist with exams and therapies and performs most of our allergy and emotional release treatments. Randi Jo loves finding new ways to solve old problems. Pursuing a degree in Sociology, Randi Jo attends Metro State full time and works part time at Brist Chiropractic.

Amy Osmundson

Amy graduated with a degree in Exercise Physiology from St. Scholastica. She is currently on maternity leave, enjoying being a full-time mom to her daughter, Kaia Jane, her son, Kaden, and her newborn daughter, Kianna. Amy, Kaia, Kaden, and Kianna love long walks and runs in Elm Creek Park Reserve. Amy is currently working toward her Masters in Nutrition.

Clinic Director

Becky Brist

Becky, Dr. Brist's wife, serves as Clinic Director, overseeing human resources, patient relations, office procedures, and marketing. Becky holds a degree in Language Arts/Secondary Education from Bethel College and a Master's in Literature from the University of Minnesota. You'll find Becky in the office on Tuesdays. The rest of the week, she'll be at home where she home educates her three youngest children, who will be in grades 4, 8, and 11 in the fall of 2010. Becky's passions are teaching and learning. She is active at Maple Grove Evangelical Free Church and with L.I.G.H.T. of Maple Grove home school co-op.
